Blumenort - meaning 'A place of flowers'. Settled and developed by the Kleine Gemeinde Mennonites in 1874 where church, school and farming were essential to their survival. The community of Blumenort endured many changes and transitions to make it what it is today. Presently, Blumenort is home to a wide variety of nationalities, faiths, occupations and histories. The BEMC opens their doors and hearts to all the people of Blumenort to continue the rich tradition of neighborly interaction, community united and a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
